He initially established himself on the British and European independent wrestling circuits, where his athletic ability quickly attracted attention. His spectacular aerial offense became one of his defining characteristics. But Satterley was more than a high flyer. As his career progressed, he developed his technical wrestling, striking ability, physical strength and aggressive in-ring style. Those qualities allowed him to adapt as he moved between different wrestling promotions and competitive environments. PAC’s International Wrestling Career Before becoming a major WWE star, Satterley competed internationally and developed a strong reputation outside the mainstream American wrestling scene. His work with Dragon Gate in Japan became particularly important to his development. The promotion provided him with opportunities to compete against elite junior heavyweight wrestlers and further refine the fast-paced style that had become associated with him. His international performances helped establish PAC as one of the most exciting wrestlers working outside WWE. Eventually, that reputation led to an opportunity with WWE. Benjamin Satterley Joins WWE Satterley signed with WWE in 2012 and became part of the company’s developing NXT brand. He initially performed as Adrian Neville, with the name later shortened to Neville. NXT introduced his athletic style to a much larger international audience. His performances quickly made him one of the brand’s prominent wrestlers. One of his most recognizable moves during this period was the Red Arrow, a spectacular aerial maneuver performed from the top rope. The move became closely associated with Neville and demonstrated the athletic ability that had defined Satterley since his independent wrestling days. Neville Becomes NXT Champion One of the most significant achievements of Satterley’s WWE career came when Neville became NXT Champion. His championship reign helped establish him as one of the important performers during NXT’s rise as a major wrestling brand. He also became an NXT Tag Team Champion. His work in NXT placed him alongside a generation of wrestlers who would go on to become prominent performers throughout WWE and the wider wrestling industry. The King of the Cruiserweights After moving to WWE’s main roster, Neville eventually underwent a significant character transformation. He became one of the central figures in WWE’s cruiserweight division and adopted the nickname “The King of the Cruiserweights.” The character allowed Satterley to showcase a more aggressive and physically imposing side of his wrestling persona. He eventually became WWE Cruiserweight Champion, adding another major championship accomplishment to his career. The period became an important chapter in his WWE legacy because it demonstrated his ability to evolve beyond the high-flying style that had initially made him famous. Leaving WWE and Returning as PAC Satterley left WWE in 2018 after a period away from television. Following his departure, he returned to wrestling under the PAC name. For longtime fans, the return represented a reunion with the identity that had helped establish his international reputation before WWE. First AEW All-Atlantic Champion PAC made AEW history by becoming the first AEW All-Atlantic Champion. The championship was subsequently renamed the AEW International Championship. Winning the inaugural version of the title gave PAC a permanent place in AEW’s championship history. His reign also added another major accomplishment to a career that had already included championship success in WWE and international promotions. Death Triangle and AEW World Trios Championship PAC also achieved championship success as part of Death Triangle, alongside Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix. The trio combined PAC’s aggressive style with the Lucha Brothers’ fast-paced and highly athletic approach. Together, they became AEW World Trios Champions. Their matches became part of AEW’s early history and further established PAC as a versatile performer capable of succeeding both individually and as part of a team. PAC and the Death Riders Later in his AEW career, PAC became associated with the Death Riders. The group gave him another prominent role within AEW programming and placed him in storylines alongside several of the promotion’s leading wrestlers. He remained an active performer until the final weekend of his life. PAC’s Final Match Against Andrade El Ídolo PAC’s final reported match came at AEW All Out 2026 on September 26. He challenged Andrade El Ídolo for the AEW National Championship. Andrade ultimately retained the championship. At the time, fans watching the match had no public indication that it would be PAC’s final appearance in a wrestling ring. Less than 24 hours later, AEW announced Satterley’s death.
